The Instituto Cervantes of Chicago, Inc. is a public institution created for the promotion and teaching of the Spanish language and to foster the growth of the Spanish and Spanish-American culture. Instituto Cervantes headquarters are located in the cities of Madrid and Alcal' de Henares, Spain.
Through the organization, students can earn Diplomas de Espa'ol como Lengua Extranjera (DELEs), accredited by Spain's Ministry of Education, signifying mastery of the Spanish language for citizens of countries in which Spanish is not the official language. |
