American Islamic College is a private, not-for-profit, four-year institution, situated within four miles north of downtown Chicago on 3.5 acres of land overlooking beautiful Lake Michigan.
AIC's mission is to provide quality educational programs within an Islamic environment and philosophic orientation. Education is provided to enable students to become acquainted with a wide and varied field of learning in the context of the Islamic view of nature, man, culture, civilization, as well as in the arts and sciences.
AIC's purpose is to present Islam to students as a philosophy with a global and unique perspective that appeals to people of various languages, cultures, and ethnic and racial backgrounds. |
